The Hydro-Mix HT is a microwave sensor designed to measure at high temperature in manufacturing industries

that use drying, ducting, conveying and mixing systems during processing.

Construction :

Body : 316 Stainless Steel (Food Safe).

Faceplate : Ceramic (Food Safe).

Internal Seals : FDA approved O-Rings.

Fixing : The Hydro Mix HT is flush mounted with the internal wall using the included mounting assembly.

Analogue Outputs : 

Two configurable 0 to 20mA or 4 to 20mA current loop source available for moisture and temperature.

May also be converted to 0 to 10V DC.

Digital Inputs/Output :

Two configurable digital signals are provided for batch average start/stop or for moisture / temperature multiplexing purposes.

Digital (Serial) Communications :

Opto-Isolated RS485 2-Wire port.

Uses Hydro-Com communications protocol for read/write access to sensor parameters and values.

RS232 converter, Ethernet and USB interfaces are also available.

Moisture : 0 to 100%, material dependant.

Depth : Approx. 75 to 100mm, material dependant.

* Note : 

In a vacuum there are no additional considerations.

But if you use it at high pressure you should install some bracing to prevent the unit from being blown out.

Refresh Rate : Outputs are updated 25 times per second.

Connections : 

The sensor is fitted with a 10-way MIL-SPEC connector.

A 4, 10 or 25 metre, 6 twisted pair cable pre-assembled for connection to a waterproof junction box is available.
